Patrick Cizek, PhD

Dr. Patrick Cizek is an economist and data-product builder with a focus on evaluating education policies and developing scalable analytical tools. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Arizona, where he studied the effects of Structured English Immersion and charter school policies. Patrick brings deep experience in statistical modeling, program evaluation, and applied machine learning, with prior roles in economic consulting and senior data science in consumer finance. He combines research rigor with modern engineering skills to deliver data systems that drive real decisions.

Matthew Hom, PhD

Dr. Matthew Hom is an economist and data-product builder who helps public school systems turn complex data into clear, actionable insight. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University, where he conducted the first modern statewide study of open enrollment in Arizona, and has since partnered with dozens of district leaders across the state to build practical tools for understanding student mobility, enrollment trends, and community needs. Dr. Hom combines statistical rigor with hands-on product development, designing platforms that support proactive planning and transparent communication. His research has been published in Educational Policy and the Peabody Journal of Education, and his industry experience includes senior data science roles leading experimentation, marketplace modeling, and behavioral analytics for large-scale technology platforms
